Mackenzie Oliphant has more than twenty years’ experience in both business and in writing.
Her business writing experience is vast and includes writing copy for multiple websites, internal intranet sites, corporate newsletters, software user guides, training materials, marketing copy, as well as proofreading and copy editing. Mackenzie also has experience in a wide range of industries, from health to manufacturing, wholesaling to town planning and construction. Specialising in web copy, she has also substantial experience in plain English editing – making dense text more easy to read for the layperson and in translating complex IT concepts to the ordinary user.
Her fiction work includes a published series of five fantasy novels (under the name of Kate Jacoby) through Orion Publishing in the UK, along with two children’s books from the Spin Out series. She has also published a number of short stories and articles and currently writes for two independent blogs on the internet.
